A record number of abstracts were received for this year’s annual conference.  From these abstracts, eight of the authors were chosen to participate in the Nutrition Graduate Student and Trainee Award Oral Presentations. 

Presenting on Friday, May 6 will be: 

Hubert Cormier – Gene-diet interactions of four common ffar4 polymorphisms with omega-3 fatty acids on insulin resistance and β-cell function

Kabo Masisi – Cardiovascular benefits of dietary corn fractions in low density lipoprotein receptor knockout mice

Kosar Omidian – Mitochondrial mechanisms of chemoprevention by polyphenols in an in vitro model of benzo[a]pyrene carcinogenesis

Kathryn Hopperton – Omega-3 fatty acids decrease the neuroinflammatory response to amyloid-β in a mouse model of Alzheimer's Disease
